Founded in 2015, Jiangsu Longda Superalloy Aviation Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Longda Aviation Materials) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Longda Superalloy Co., Ltd. Longda Aviation Materials specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of core and key materials (namely cast superalloy and wrought superalloy) of aero-engine, with key products including cast superalloy materials for engine blades and wrought superalloy materials for engine turbine disks. Longda Aviation Materials is an exemplary business of the “One-Stop” Application Program for High-Temperature Resistant Blades of Aero-Engines and Gas Turbines under China’s Industrial Foundation Enhancement Project, as well as a state-level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative “Little Giant” enterprise. It has passed the AS9100 International Aerospace Quality Management System Certification, Environmental Management System Certification, Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification, CNAS National Laboratory Accreditation, and NADCAP International Laboratory Accreditation.

Longda Aviation Materials boasts world-class production equipment and laboratories, making it capable of producing 5,000t/a cast superalloy and 8,000t/a wrought superalloy. It has made breakthroughs in ultra-high-purity vacuum smelting technology for single-crystal, equiaxed, and directional superalloy master alloys, reaching the international advanced level. The company’s proprietary single-crystal superalloy for advanced aero-engine turbine blades are applied in China’s commercial aero-engine sector, replacing imported products and meeting international airworthiness standards. Equiaxed, directional, and single-crystal cast superalloy products have been applied in core components of aero-engines. The application of the company’s ultra-high-purity technology has been fully verified and promoted, making the company capable of engineering production and improving the standards and quality of the superalloy industry.

For wrought superalloy, the company has made breakthroughs in “Positive Triple” manufacturing technology for aero-engine turbine disks, with products being applied in core components such as aero-engine, gas turbine disk, and casing. The company aims to achieve independent supply and replacement of imported products.

The company’s cast superalloy products have been massively exported for use in foreign gas turbines. In addition, the company’s “Positive Triple” wrought superalloy has been supplied to international aero-engine manufacturers such as Rolls-Royce, GE, and Collins Aerospace.

The company has undertaken a number of national key special scientific research projects on materials.
